Final rules are posted

Latest NEWS:
If you are NOT a WNYTEA member, go www.wnytea.com and join, it’s a small price to pay for your students to enjoy future Tech Wars events.

VEX Robotics will be back with us again this year with their "Clean Sweep" competition. If you are entering that event, you must register through www.vexrobotics.com this is the ONLY VEX event we have. Kidwind will be a new event as it was at NCCC in January. You must register through Kidwind.

We have two coordinators for the Robotic Soccer competition. The VEX portion of this event has been eliminated, in favor of the scratch built robots. Let me repeat this. There is NO VEX Robotic Soccer.

We will have Perkins funds available for transportation (Maximum $250 per district within Allegany, Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara Counties) and I do have some money for a few subs, but if a district needs more than $250 for transportation, that money will come from the small hardship sub budget.

I'm sure most districts have depleted their field trip money. Make sure you apply for this through me, by sending a school district invoice to me starting the day of the competition or shortly after. I prefer an invoice in MS Office sent via email. It will get paid faster. We will not comply with terms of payment; your district will be paid before the end of the fiscal year (June 30, 2010).

Food service will be the same as last year. Regular cafeteria prices will apply. Due to an incident between students from two different schools, please do not allow your students to place delivery orders from off campus establishments. Please have then purchase food in the cafeteria and limit it's consumption to the dining area.

Any questions, contact me at: RTufte1@aol.com or rtufte@ccsd-k12.org during the day if you need an immediate answer.

Thank you for your understanding,
Bob Tufte, Head Coordinator
